Jordan Vineyard & Winery was founded in 1972 by Tom and Sally Jordan in Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, inspired by the great wine estates of France. They constructed a chateau that combined winemaking facilities, guest suites, and dining areas under one roof, setting a new standard for American wine country hospitality. The winery's inaugural vintage was produced in 1976 under the guidance of winemaker Rob Davis, who remained with Jordan until his retirement in 2019.
