Maculan Winery, established in 1947 by Giovanni Maculan in Breganze, Italy, began by producing local wines sold in large jars and one-liter bottles. In 1973, his son Fausto, after studying oenology, took over and introduced modern viticulture techniques, including high-density vineyards inspired by Bordeaux and Burgundy. This transformation elevated Maculan to international acclaim, particularly for their renowned dessert wines like Torcolato and Acininobili. Today, the winery spans 40 hectares, producing approximately 650,000 bottles annually, with Fausto's daughters, Angela and Maria Vittoria, actively involved in its operations.
