Il Colombaio di Cencio, established in 1993 by German entrepreneur Werner Ernest Wilhelm, is situated in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. The estate spans 25 hectares of vineyards across three subzones—Cornia, Montelodoli, and Vinci—ranging from 280 to 480 meters above sea level. In 2018, the winery was acquired by Fontanafredda, a historic Barolo producer, further enhancing its reputation.
