Castel Faglia was founded in 1989 in the hamlet of Calino, part of Cazzago San Martino in the Franciacorta zone. The estate was born from the initiative of Rita Barboglio together with the Cavicchioli family, and the winery name recalls the castle of Colonel Umberto Faglia above the vineyards. The property focuses on Franciacorta method sparkling wines, with the Monogram cuvée as its flagship and careful use of varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco to shape its style. The estate blends artisanal practices with modern cellar technology, and its Monogram bottlings have received national and international awards for quality.
