Prelius is an organic vineyard located in Tuscany's Maremma region, near the ancient coastal lake once known as Prelius. The Stianti Mascheroni family, renowned for their commitment to organic viticulture, acquired the 21-hectare estate in 2007, marking their first venture outside Chianti Classico. Historically, the area was valued by the Etruscans and Romans for its natural resources, including the lake, which was eventually drained in the early 20th century to create fertile agricultural land.
