Villa Pillo is a historic Tuscan estate with origins dating back to medieval times, as documented in numerous historical records. Situated in the heart of the Chianti region, it lies equidistant from the cities of Pisa, Florence, and Siena, along the ancient Via Francigena trade and pilgrimage route. In 1989, American couple John and Kathe Dyson acquired the 500-hectare estate, undertaking extensive restorations of the 18th-century Palladian villa and its park, originally built by Marchese Incontri. They revitalized the vineyards and olive orchards, blending traditional Tuscan methods with innovative techniques, leading Villa Pillo to become a notable reference in the Tuscan wine world.
