Castello di Albola, located in Radda in Chianti, Italy, has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. Over the centuries, it has been owned by several noble Tuscan families, including the Acciaioli, Samminiati, Pazzi, and Ginori Conti. In 1979, the Zonin family acquired the estate, restoring its historic structures and expanding the vineyards. Today, the estate spans approximately 900 hectares, with 125 hectares dedicated to vineyards, producing renowned Chianti Classico wines. Notably, Castello di Albola was among the first estates in Italy to obtain the EQUALITAS certification for environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
