Notably, it is the closest winery to the Tyrrhenian Sea and also the highest in altitude within the Bolgheri area, reaching up to 200 meters above sea level. The name 'Argentiera' is derived from the Italian word for silver, referencing the ancient silver mines that once operated in the region. The winery's architecture harmoniously blends with the surrounding landscape, utilizing recycled materials and traditional Tuscan design elements.
